Your drive stays on your device.

This policy describes the Plaid Dash iPhone and iPad app, developed by Peng Yang.

Location

The app uses foreground location while Drive Mode is active to calculate GPS speed. It does not save location history or send location to the developer or a server. Theme previews use clearly identified simulated speed and do not start GPS.

Preferences

Theme, speed units, language, appearance, brightness, mirror, and motion preferences are stored locally. You can change them in Settings. There is no app account to create or delete.

No advertising or tracking

The app includes no advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, or app-operated data upload. It does not sell personal data. Apple may process diagnostics or TestFlight feedback according to your Apple settings and Apple’s own privacy terms.

Your choices

You can change location permission in your device’s Settings. Without permission, you can still preview themes, but live GPS speed is unavailable. Leaving Drive Mode or backgrounding the app stops its location updates.

Support and this website

If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to send are used to respond to your request. Do not include location history or other sensitive information. This website’s hosting provider may process standard request information needed to serve and protect the site; the app itself does not contact this website automatically.
